1About these Terms
1.1Peakstone ("we", "us") is operated by Peakstone (preview), Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected].
1.2These Terms apply to everyone who uses Peakstone: people who buy subscriptions ("Buyers") and people who sell plugins and software ("Authors"). Part A applies to everyone, Part B to Authors, Part C to Buyers.
1.3By creating an account or using Peakstone, you agree to these Terms.
Part A: General
2What Peakstone is
2.1Peakstone is a marketplace where Authors offer subscriptions to Minecraft plugins and related software ("Products").
2.2We are not the seller. Every purchase is a contract between the Buyer and the Author. The Author is the seller of record and is responsible for the Product, its licence, support, taxes and invoicing.
2.3Payments are processed by Stripe directly into the Author's own Stripe account. We never hold Buyers' or Authors' money.
2.4Licence keys and access are issued by the Author's own licensing system.
3Accounts
3.1An account requires a verified email address. One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity on your account.
3.2You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms and is responsible for your purchases.
3.3The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
4Acceptable use
You must not:
- upload or distribute malware, backdoors, or code that harms servers or collects data without clear disclosure;
- upload content you do not have the rights to;
- share, leak, resell or redistribute Products;
- commit fraud, including fraudulent chargebacks;
- attack or probe Peakstone without permission (security reports are welcome at [email protected]);
- try to avoid platform fees.
5Suspension and termination
5.1We may suspend or remove accounts and Products that break these Terms.
5.2You may close your account at any time. Closing a Buyer account cancels its active subscriptions at the end of the current billing period.
6Liability
6.1Peakstone is provided "as is". Products are provided by Authors; we are not responsible for how they work.
6.2To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees we received from you in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
7Changes to these Terms
We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Peakstone after that, the new Terms apply.
8Governing law
These Terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live.
9Joining Peakstone
9.1To sell on Peakstone, you need:
- a Stripe account in good standing, connected through Stripe Connect;
- a GitHub account with genuine activity (public code is not required);
- documentation for every Product;
- a support channel for your Buyers;
- a reason why the Product is a subscription, for example ongoing updates, a hosted service or active support.
9.2Every Product and every upload is scanned and manually reviewed. We may reject or remove Products at our discretion, including low-effort or AI-generated work (for example generated branding, icons or generic descriptions). Using AI as a development tool is fine.
9.3Your Stripe account is also governed by Stripe's own terms.
10Fees
10.1We charge 5% of each payment for subscriptions started through the Peakstone marketplace.
10.2We charge 0% for subscriptions started through your own referral link.
10.3Founding Authors pay 3% instead of 10.1 for as long as their Products stay listed.
10.4Fees are collected automatically by Stripe at the time of each payment as an application fee. Stripe's processing fees are charged to you by Stripe.
10.5We will give at least 30 days' notice of fee changes. A subscription keeps the rate it started with.
10.6When a payment is refunded, we also refund our fee on that payment.
12Your obligations
You must:
- deliver the licence or access promptly after payment, and only revoke it for non-payment or after cancellation takes effect;
- support your Buyers;
- handle taxes, VAT, invoices and consumer law as the seller, including EU rules for digital content;
- own or have the rights to everything in your Products and comply with the Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines;
- not include malware or backdoors, and clearly disclose any remote code loading, telemetry or data collection on the Product page;
- keep your Product page accurate: price, what is included, licence model and refund policy.
13Refunds and disputes
13.1Every Product page must state a refund policy.
13.2Refund requests we receive from Buyers are forwarded to you. You must respond within 72 hours.
13.3If you do not respond within 72 hours, you authorise us to refund the most recent payment for that subscription from your Stripe account.
13.4Chargebacks and payment disputes are between you, the Buyer and the card issuer. You bear their costs and outcome.
14Leaving Peakstone
You may disconnect at any time. Your listings are removed. Existing subscriptions stay in your Stripe account, and we will tell affected Buyers that they are now managed directly by you.
Part C: Buyers
15Buying
15.1When you buy a Product, your contract is with the Author, who is the seller. The Author's licence terms apply.
15.2Prices are set by the Author and shown before you pay. Taxes are calculated by the Author's Stripe account where the Author has enabled it.
15.3Your licence is issued by the Author's system. Use the same email you use on the Author's site so your licence is linked correctly.
16Subscriptions
16.1Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled and are charged through Stripe.
16.2You can cancel at any time in Your subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Your access and licence continue until then.
16.3If a payment fails and Stripe's retries are unsuccessful, the subscription ends and the licence may be deactivated.
16.4If the Author enables it, subscriptions you bought directly on the Author's site may also appear in Your subscriptions and can be cancelled there in the same way.
17Refunds and right of withdrawal
17.1Refunds follow the refund policy shown on the Product page. Request a refund at [email protected]. We forward it to the Author, who has 72 hours to respond; if they do not, we refund the most recent payment.
17.2EU consumers: Products are digital content. Before checkout you are asked to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download or activation begins.
17.3Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, for example if a Product does not work as described.
18Using Products
Products are licensed, not sold, under the Author's licence terms. You must not share, resell, leak or redistribute them. Breaking this may lead to the Author revoking your licence and to suspension of your account.
19Downloads
Downloads are available while your subscription is active. We scan every file, but we cannot guarantee that a Product is free of all defects. Keep backups of your server.
